Sailor Jerry launch their delicious new Ready To Drink line and Australia gets the first sip!

Updated: Apr 3, 2020

Sailor Jerry’s has been the go-to rum brand for many of us for years now, so I was excited to hear about their first innovation in 19 years. The introduction of their Ready To Drink (RTD) range. These are intended to provide the great taste of Sailor Jerrys rum served conveniently pre-mixed in cans. The range features Sailor Jerry’s mixed with either Cola or Dry ginger ale and comes in at 6% ABV. I was lucky enough to be contacted regarding giving these a try and as you might expect I jumped at the opportunity!

These a sure to be a hit with the warm summer months fast approaching and Sunday arvo sundowners back on the menu. With an RRP of $26 for a 4 pack, these are bound to become a go-to drink for many of us.

To take these for a test run a got them Ice cold and took them to my favourite spot at the northern end of Coogee Beach in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The convenience of these ready to drink cans is really what wins me over. Both the Rum and Dry and the Rum and Cola are smooth and easy drinking. My favourite of the two is the Rum and Cola is everything you want it to be, without any of the hassles of preparing it yourself. With picnic season upon us I’ll be keeping my eye on the premixed section of my local bottle shops for these.
